Il Premio Consonanze – I Protagonisti della Creatività 2019 è stato dedicato all’attore Alessandro Benvenuti.
Alessandro Benvenuti è attore, regista,sceneggiatore e scrittore.E’ stato co-fondatore, insieme a Francesco Nuti e Athina Cenci, del gruppo comico “ GianCattivi”, con il quale ha ottenuto i suoi primi successi in teatro e in televisione. Il suo debutto cinematografico è stato col film “Ad Ovest di Paperino”, con il quale ha vinto il Nastro d’Argento del 1982 come migliore nuovo regista. In seguito ha iniziato una carriera molto apprezzata come regista, sceneggiatore e attore in una serie di commedie originali e insolite. Nel 1995 ha vinto nuovamente il Nastro d’Argento per la sceneggiatura del film Belle al Bar. Nel 1996 ha ricevuto tre nomination ai Globi d’Oro per il suo film drammatico-comico “ Ivo il tardivo”, per le categorie miglior film,miglior attore,miglior regista.Negli anni successivi ha lavorato intensamente in teatro,televisione e cinema.
Nel 2019 viene nominato Direttore Artistico del Teatro dei Rinnovati di Siena.

Alessandro Benvenuti is an Italian actor, film director, screenwriter and novelist.He was co-founder, together with Francesco Nuti and Athina Cenci, of the comedy ensemble “GianCattivi” with whom he achieved his first successes on stage and on television.He made his film debut in Ad Ovest di Paperino, for which he won the 1982 Silver Ribbon for Best New Director,therefore he started a critically appreciated career as director, screenwriter and actor of a set of original, offbeat comedies.In 1995 he won a second Silver Ribbon for the script of the film Belle al Bar.In 1996 he received three Globi d’oro nominations for his comedy drama film Ivo the Genius in the categories best film, best actor and best director.In the following years he will work intensely in theater,television an cinema.
In 2019 he was appointed Artistic Director of the Rinnovati Theater in Siena ( Italy ).
